Cookie Policy.
Short version: this site does not set tracking cookies and does not use any third-party analytics or advertising services. We run our own privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics so we can see how the site is used and make it better.
Do we use cookies?
We do not set advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics is cookieless. The only browser storage we use is a temporary per-tab session identifier (kept in sessionStorage and cleared when you close the tab) and a small local flag that remembers your privacy choice. Neither is a cookie and neither follows you across other websites.
What our analytics measures
When you visit, we record anonymous usage data: the page viewed, the referring website's domain, any campaign tags in the link you arrived from, your approximate country and region, your device type, browser, and operating system, and screen width.
We do not store your IP address. To count unique visitors without identifying anyone, we convert your IP address and browser into a one-way hash that changes every day and cannot be reversed. We do not collect your name, email, or any personal information through analytics, and we never sell or share this data.
Your choices
You can opt out at any time using the "Privacy choices" link in the footer. We also automatically honor your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control settings, so if those are enabled we will not record analytics for you.
Data retention
Anonymous analytics data is kept only as long as it is useful for understanding and improving the site, and is stored in our own database, not with a third party.
